This policy explains what personal data LMW Assets collects through this website, why, and what your rights are. We collect very little, and we don't run analytics, advertising or tracking.

LMW Assets ("we", "us") is a UK-based business and the controller of the personal data described here. To contact us about your data, use the details on our Contact page.

What we collect and why

Enquiries

If you get in touch with us, by email, through LinkedIn or through a contact form if we offer one, we receive the details you choose to send, such as your name, email address, company and message. We use them only to reply to you and to deal with your enquiry, including any licensing or commissioned work that follows. We're allowed to do this because it is needed to respond to your request and it is in our legitimate interests to answer people who contact us.

Emails reach us through our email provider, which handles them on our behalf. We keep enquiries for as long as we need to deal with them and any resulting work, and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete them.

Cookies

We use one cookie, a session cookie that remembers whether you have switched the animated background off. It is strictly necessary for that feature to work, it isn't used to identify or track you, and it is removed when you close your browser. Because it is strictly necessary, we don't ask for consent.

Server logs

Like most websites, the server that hosts this site may record technical information about each request, such as your IP address, the page requested and your browser type. This is used to keep the site secure and working, and isn't used to profile you.

Other websites

This site doesn't load fonts, scripts or trackers from third-party services. Links to Roblox, LinkedIn and other sites take you off this website, and those sites have their own privacy policies. We don't control what they collect.

Who we share data with

We don't sell your data or share it for marketing. It is shared only with the services that help us run the site and handle your enquiry, such as our hosting and email providers, and only where necessary.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to ask for it in a portable form. To use any of these rights, get in touch.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

If we change how we handle personal data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
